We are an Australian company.   All prices are displayed in AU$ (Australian Dollars) - all prices displayed will be GST inclusive. 

While our customer base is predominantly within Australia, there are some products which may be sent overseas.  For international customers wishing to purchase from our website, please contact us to see if products you are wishing to purchase are able to be exported.

Payment for orders

Orchidaceous Supplies offers a number of payment methods for our customers. Payment for your purchase and postage/freight must be received in full before your parcel will be dispatched.  All payments must be settled in our account before it is considered that payment has been received.

Orchidaceous Supplies accept payment by PayPal and Electronic Bank Transfer.  You do not need a PayPal account to make a payment.

                 

                                                                   
Processing of orders

Every effort will be made, to dispatch your order within 3 working days from receipt of payment. On occasions when we are away from home, attending a show, slight delays in dispatch may be experienced.  In such instances, every effort will be made to advise you accordingly.  If payment is to be by credit card, no transferring of funds will be performed until the order can be filled in full or as negotiated with the customer.

 

 

Postage / Freight Information

 Orchidaceous Supplies accepts no responsibility for any loss of, damage to, late delivery or non-delivery of goods ordered from our web site. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to release our carriers from any liability relating to loss of, damage to, late delivery or non-delivery of any goods you order from this web site and to assign all rights to claim compensation or insurance against our carriers to us and expressly and irrevocably do so by clicking the following box. 

In rural and regional areas of Australia, delivery times for Parcel Services are in respect of delivery to the Post Office of the principal township in that area.  Delivery to final destinations may take longer.  If in doubt, please check with your local Post Office.

 

Delivery Options

Our preferred methods of delivery are Australia Post or courier service, depending on destination and size of parcel.  For larger orders, please contact us regarding delivery methods.  However, if you wish to nominate a specific carrier, that can generally be arranged.

 

Packaging

Every effort is made when packaging your order to ensure that no damage occurs to the parcel during its journey to you.

Orders will be dispatched in good condition by the purchaser's nominated postage/freight method, at the purchaser's risk. We accept no liability for damaged or lost goods. If requiring registration and/or insurance a quote should be sought. A small charge is included for packaging.

 

Shipping Costs

The shipping section of the shopping cart will detail costs to your destination.  If the shopping cart displays “error” for the postage costs – this indicates that this service is not offered by Australia Post to your destination.

 

Delivery Times

Delivery times are a guide only and while generally accurate, they may can vary considerably due to public holidays, transport difficulties, customs inspections, remoteness of destination etc


Registered Parcels and Insurance

All parcels will be dispatched in good condition with sufficient packaging.  All parcels will be dispatched at the purchaser's risk, unless we are otherwise advised.  Orchidaceous Supplies accept no liability for damaged or lost goods.  If you require registration and/or insurance for a parcel to be sent by Australia Post, a quote should be sought. Registration and /or Insurance will be charged at cost.

 

Returns and Refunds

Return of Goods

Orchidaceous Supplies generally will offer a money back guarantee for goods ordered from our website.  This may apply to an item sent in error, or one that doesn’t fit the description listed.  We must be communicated with immediately to authorise the return. The return must be within 10 days of receipt and proof of purchase must be included.

  • Any returned stock must be in new condition.
  • Any damaged stock will not be accepted for a refund.
  • All postage / freight  costs are to be borne by the customer.
  • Any new stock sold at a discounted price due to “clearance of stock sale”, “special price sale” or “damaged stock sale“ is non-returnable
