The pots we have on offer are orchid orientated. Some of the pots may suit other applications but all are specifically selected as suitable for orchids. In some cases the pots offered may suit only one genera. e.g. Paphiopedilum orchids prefer very deep pots, Cymbidium orchids prefer a deep to very deep pot, Cattleya and Dendrobium orchids prefer good draining squat pots which have the potential to allow good air movement, Vanda orchids prefer very open or even slatted pots, Phalaenopsis orchids prefer clear pots and Bulbophyllum orchids prefer very shallow pots. This in no way covers all of the genera likes but gives an idea of the reasons for such a wide variety of pots being offered. Most of the pots on offer are made of plastic, however there are ones made from other materials.
We offer the Australian made Dome range of budget priced pots and the Port Pot range of top quality orchid pots, considered to be the best of all orchid pots. We also import a range of Thai pots, specifically designed for orchids, of the highest quality and realistically priced.
